Pastor Gary Click & Family
Pastor Gary Click came came to Fremont Baptist Temple in November of 2006. Previously he had served as pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Clinton, Indiana.
For several years, Pastor Click has been active in writing devotional columns published in a local newspaper as well as through email subscriptions and on the internet. Since moving to Fremont, Light for Living has developed into a radio broadcast. These broadcasts can be found on the sermons page of this site and we hope that they are a blessing to you.
Pastor currently serves in an advisory capacity with two exciting missions organizations: Baptist International Outreach and The Carpenters Project
He is a 1990 graduate of Midwestern Baptist College of Pontiac, MI. While at Midwestern, Gary met a young lady by the name of Nanette. It wasn’t long before they were dating and eventually married on January 21, 1989. Gary and Nanette have been blessed with four sons, Nathaneil (8/28/1990), Zachary (9/02/1993), Garrison (10/26/2000) and the recent addition of Micah (6/11/2003).
After college, he served the Lord through a Christian drama ministry known as The Academy of Arts. Although based out of Greenville, SC, he and Nanette traveled extensively ministering through drama.
In August of 1994, God led him back to his home town of Richmond, IN. There he served as the youth pastor of his home church, Hillcrest Baptist Church. Not only did he minister to the teens, but also directed the bus and junior church ministries.
Pastor Click is a certified Law Enforcement Chaplain having been active with the Vermillion County Sheriff's Department for six years. While in Richmond, he also served as a police chaplain for the Richmond Police Department for four years. After establishing himself in the Fremont community, he hopes to take up this ministry once again.
Pastor Click’s greatest desire is to reach out to people with God’s Word. Our community is filled with people of various backgrounds and personal needs. Yet in God’s Word, we can all find, strength, encouragement, comfort, and direction.
Click Concepts is another ministry of currently in the infancy stage. This is Pastor Click's publishing ministry. Currently several tracts are available. In the future he intends to produce Bible Curriculum and other materials to assist local churches as well as offering assistance in layout and design. Recently, he began serving as editor for Midwestern Baptist College's "Midwestern Messenger & Alumni Report."
Pastor's wife, Nanette, is the new director of FBT's childcare ministry, Temple Tot Nursery School.
